A contract opportunity is available for a Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This role supports remote interpreting duties with scheduled hours totaling approximately 12.92 hours per week. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM
- Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM
- Monday through Friday, 10:25 AM to 11:10 AM
- Monday through Friday, 12:25 PM to 1:10 PM
Location: Remote service provision based in Louisburg, KS.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3.5 on the EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment)
- Current registration or commitment to register with the Kansas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (KCDHH)
- Successful completion of tech screening relevant to remote interpreting tasks
