Online Sign Language Interpreter - AL

A contract role is available for a Sign Language Interpreter skilled in telehealth services to support a 14-year-old student. This position requires 30 hours per week and will begin as soon as possible, continuing through May 21st.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation services, ensuring clear and accurate communication for the student.
• Facilitate effective telehealth sessions, assisting with remote learning or therapy as needed.
• Support the student’s communication needs in various school-related activities and settings.
• Collaborate with educators and healthcare providers to ensure consistent and appropriate interpretation services.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, including telehealth interpretation.
• Strong knowledge of interpreting techniques appropriate for educational environments.
• Ability to work effectively with adolescent students.
• Reliable availability for 30 hours per week throughout the contract duration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
