Remote Sign Language Interpreter in ID

This contract role offers the opportunity to provide full-time sign language interpretation services for a 4th-grade student via telehealth in an educational setting. The position is based in Rexburg, ID, and requires immediate availability through June 3rd.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver clear and accurate sign language interpretation services for a 4th-grade student during telehealth sessions.
• Facilitate effective communication between the student, educators, and support staff, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in all interactions.
• Collaborate remotely with educational personnel to support the student’s learning needs.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies during sessions.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with experience interpreting for children in educational settings.
• Previous experience providing telehealth sign language interpreting services preferred.
• Strong understanding of educational terminology and 4th grade curriculum concepts.
• Ability to work full-time and commit immediately through June 3rd.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
