A full-time Sign Language Interpreter is needed to support a kindergarten student who is not fluent in ASL. This role will involve providing telehealth and in-person interpreting services within a school setting. Effective collaboration with the Department of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) specialists is essential to meet the student’s communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation for a kindergarten student in both telehealth and classroom environments
- Adapt communication strategies to support a student not yet fluent in ASL
- Work closely with DHH professionals to ensure consistent communication access
- Facilitate clear and accurate interpretation during educational activities and therapy sessions
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards of practice
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in sign language interpretation, with experience working with children
- Ability to interpret in telehealth settings effectively
- Strong collaboration skills to engage with DHH team members and educators
- Patience and adaptability when supporting young learners with varying communication abilities
- Availability for an interview during the week of August 24
