Remote Educational Sign Language Interpreter | Idaho

A full-time position is available for a Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth support for a 4th-grade student. This contract role spans from ASAP through June 3rd, providing essential communication access within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation services via telehealth platforms for a student requiring communication support.
• Facilitate clear and accurate communication between the student, educators, and support staff.
• Adapt interpreting methods to meet the unique needs of a fourth-grade learner.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in all interactions.
• Collaborate with educational professionals to support inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated interpreting skills.
• Experience providing telehealth interpretation services, preferably within school settings.

• Familiarity with educational terminology and classroom protocols is advantageous.
