A remote Sign Language Interpreter opportunity is available to provide telehealth support in an educational setting. The assignment is contracted from ASAP through the end of the school year, offering a consistent schedule with flexible remote engagement.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering sign language interpretation services during scheduled telehealth sessions.
- Collaborating with educational professionals to facilitate communication for students requiring signing support.
- Maintaining compliance with licensing and registration requirements throughout the contract.
Schedule Overview:
- Monday to Friday: 8:45 AM – 9:30 AM
- Tuesday and Thursday: 9:30 AM – 10:20 AM
- Monday to Friday: 10:25 AM – 11:10 AM
- Monday to Friday: 12:25 PM – 1:10 PM Totaling approximately 12.92 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- EIPA certification of 3.5 or higher.
- Registration or active pursuit of registration with the Kansas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (KCDHH).
- Successful completion of the required technical screening.
Location: Remote work with engagement related to a school based in Stilwell, KS.
