Sign Language Interpreter

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for a school-based opportunity in the Toccoa, Georgia area for the upcoming school year. This position will provide 1:1 support to a 7th grade student who is completely deaf and has visual impairments in a self-contained classroom setting.

This is a great opportunity for an interpreter who enjoys building strong student relationships and collaborating closely with teachers and staff in a supportive educational environment.

Position Details:

• 1:1 Sign Language Interpreter assignment
• 7th grade student
• Student is completely deaf with poor vision
• Self-contained classroom setting

Schedule flexibility:

• Full-time: 5 days/week
• OR part-time: Tuesdays & Wednesdays only

Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and support staff
Seeking someone with an outgoing, team-oriented personality

Qualifications

• EIPA score and/or state licensure/certification requirements preferred
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
