Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • National Interpreter Certification (NIC) or equivalent preferred
  • Experience interpreting in school, classroom, or educational settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret spoken language into ASL (and vice versa) for students, teachers, and staff
  • Ensure accurate, confidential communication in various academic settings
