Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating communication between hearing-impaired students and their teachers, peers, and staff
  • Interpreting spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction and school activities

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language with formal certification or equivalent experience
