Hours are steady, running approximately from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, aligning well with a typical elementary school schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Certified Sign Language Interpreter with valid licensure
• Experience in elementary school settings strongly preferred
• Skilled in 1:1 interpretation, especially for early learners
• Confidence in supporting students new to sign language
• Able to provide a variety of visual supports and adapt to changing needs
• Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with classroom staff
• Open to travel professionals who are passionate about school-based interpreting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver clear, accessible interpretation services throughout the entire school day
• Foster a rich, supportive environment that helps the child build their sign language skills
• Assist the student with understanding and engaging in academic and social activities
