There are four positions available, and you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals in a vibrant learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Oregon Sign Language Interpreter Certification or Licensure
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to interpret accurately and effectively in academic settings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken and signed communication between students, staff, and peers in a classroom environment
- Support students’ access to the curriculum, school activities, and events
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and support staff for students’ educational success
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards at all times
- Adapt to various subject matters and grade levels throughout the school day
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
This position is full time, running from August 24, 2026 through June 11, 2027. All work is onsite during the academic year, providing the consistency and engagement students deserve.
