Responsibilities include:

• Providing accurate ASL interpretation and transliteration during classroom instruction, discussions, and activities

• Supporting delivery of core curriculum and adapting communication strategies based on classroom needs
• Assisting with coursework, assignments, and assessments as needed for the student’s understanding

The ideal candidate will have:

• Registration as required under the SLI and Transliteration Registration Act
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Certification and licensure necessary to work as a Sign Language Interpreter in an educational setting

• Ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions
