Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure or eligibility
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, especially with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Contribute to IEP meetings, provide documentation, and track student progress
- Work in both one-on-one and group settings
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate speech and language supports into the classroom environment
- Educate parents and school staff about communication disorders and strategies for support
- Participate in ongoing professional development
