Energize your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing invaluable support to high school and middle school students in the greater Greenwood and Abbeville, SC area! In this fulfilling contract opportunity, you’ll work a full-time schedule across four days per week on a 190-day contract, beginning July 17th, 2026. You’ll make a genuine impact in educational settings, collaborating with dedicated professionals and helping students enhance their communication skills.

Two engaging roles are available for certified, licensed SLPs:

  • Secondary Education-focused caseload, working primarily with high school students and addressing a range of speech and language needs.
  • Mixed Itinerant caseload, supporting students across varying ages and multiple campuses, offering a dynamic, rewarding experience.

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and license for South Carolina.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with high school and/or middle school populations.
  • Comfortable managing a diverse secondary or itinerant caseload.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, direct therapy, and consultative services tailored to student needs.
  • Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Facilitate meaningful progress for students with articulation, language, voice, and fluency concerns.
  • Travel as needed for the itinerant role between sites; mileage reimbursement may be provided where applicable.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, reports, and compliance in accordance with district and state requirements.
