Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Aberdeen, Mississippi

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• State licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure for school-based or healthcare SLP (specific to location regulations)
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school setting
• Strong foundation in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students with diverse needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting student-specific goals
• Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support overall student success
• Prepare clear, thorough documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
