Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- State licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure for school-based or healthcare SLP (specific to location regulations)
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school setting
- Strong foundation in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting student-specific goals
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support overall student success
- Prepare clear, thorough documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer training, support, and consultation to teachers and families, promoting an inclusive classroom environment
