Key Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Familiarity with therapy approaches for a range of communication disorders in children
  • Ability to manage caseloads, carry out assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy for students in accordance with IEPs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to support student success
  • Document progress, complete reports, and maintain compliance with school and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support a cohesive learning experience
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to student planning, and consult with families on therapy goals and techniques
  • Create an engaging, supportive atmosphere that fosters student development
