Key Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with therapy approaches for a range of communication disorders in children
- Ability to manage caseloads, carry out assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy for students in accordance with IEPs
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to support student success
- Document progress, complete reports, and maintain compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support a cohesive learning experience
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to student planning, and consult with families on therapy goals and techniques
- Create an engaging, supportive atmosphere that fosters student development
