Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Aberdeen, MS

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP licensure (CFY candidates welcomed)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Pediatric and school-based experience strongly valued
• Proficiency with common assessment tools for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to fostering student success

What you'll do:

• Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students from diverse backgrounds and needs
• Develop, implement, and review IEPs in collaboration with faculty and families
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and school initiatives
• Document sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
• Educate and consult with teachers and caregivers to maximize student support
• Engage students in individualized and group sessions using evidence-based practices
