School Speech Language Pathologist - Acampo, California

In this role, you’ll experience variety each week: spend two days providing essential services at an adult SDC program and a separate alternative program, then devote four days to a high school setting working alongside a dedicated full-time SLP. Here, your responsibilities will be dynamic—serving as the case manager, facilitating IEP meetings, and conducting thorough assessments. This collaborative environment values your input in supporting students’ communication needs across their academic journey.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and CCC-SLP certification
• Previous experience in educational settings (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload with organization and efficiency
• Familiarity with IEP processes and conducting formal assessments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students in adult SDC, alternative education, and high school environments
• Act as case manager, maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Plan and conduct IEP meetings, working closely with families and educational teams
• Perform comprehensive assessments to guide individualized treatment plans
