Step into a dynamic K-8 educational setting where you'll have the opportunity to provide essential speech-language pathology services to students across various levels. This full-time contract role offers a blend of on-site and off-site flexibility, with a total of 40 hours per week—5 of which may be completed remotely. You’ll be covering several FMLA openings throughout the school year, offering your expertise directly where and when it’s most needed.

The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional ability to support students’ diverse communication needs and collaborate closely with school staff and families. Given the nature of the relief assignments, this position is best suited for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with strong independent skills and the ability to quickly adapt to different school environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California SLP License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Proven experience in K-8 educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of IEP procedures and compliance standards
  • Capacity to manage caseloads efficiently and independently
  • Clinical Fellows are not ideal for this role due to coverage requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based therapy to K-8 students
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services onsite and remotely
  • Maintain required documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
  • Communicate progress with teachers, parents, and related service teams
  • Adapt quickly to new settings and actively support students and staff during FMLA coverage

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate, ranging from $65 to $82, based on your experience.
