Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle and high school students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant community near Acworth, GA. This is a full-time, on-site assignment set within one school, running from July 27, 2026, to May 28, 2027. You’ll make a significant impact by fostering communication skills that help students thrive both academically and socially.
Your expertise will be central to a caseload ranging from 45 to 55 students. The team values dedication to student growth and an ability to collaborate with educators and families to support each learner’s individual goals.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC from ASHA
- Active Georgia professional licensure and GA PSC certification
- Experience with school-aged youth, specifically in middle and high school environments, is highly preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions
- Comfortable with on-site responsibilities (remote option not available)
- Proactive with fingerprinting and drug screening required for credentialing
- SLPAs are not being considered for this position
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy aligned with student IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting compliant with school and state protocols
- Offer support and guidance to empower students’ communication and language development
