Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a passion for working in educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, communication, and swallowing therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ learning and development
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Deliver services using evidence-based practices and stay updated with the latest in the SLP field
