Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a passion for working in educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, communication, and swallowing therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ learning and development
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Deliver services using evidence-based practices and stay updated with the latest in the SLP field
