Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state SLP license (CCC required for SLPs); SLPAs must hold appropriate state certification
  • Previous experience in a school environment highly preferred
  • Comfort working with K-12 students of varied backgrounds and abilities
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language services to students per Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Complete thorough assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress efficiently
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, families, and school staff
  • Support generalization of language and communication skills into students’ daily classroom routines
  • Attend IEP meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
  • Mentor and provide guidance to SLPAs if assigned
