Step into an impactful opportunity to support students and their communication needs for the upcoming 24/25 school year! This contract position focuses on providing in-person speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school environment near Lancaster, CA. The ideal professional will bring expertise working with pediatric populations, a passion for school-based therapy, and comfort supporting students with Autism. You’ll collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and support staff to help students reach their fullest potential in communication and social skills.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible California state licensure as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
  • Demonstrated experience or practicum in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Familiarity and effectiveness working with students on the Autism spectrum
  • Comfortable adapting to campus-based routines and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to provide in-person therapy services; teletherapy is not part of this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop tailored IEP goals
  • Deliver direct intervention individually and in groups to students with diverse communication needs
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in alignment with district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
  • Support generalization of skills across school environments
