Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Adelanto, California

This position is based at a campus in the greater Lancaster area and is ideal for speech-language pathologists passionate about working with pediatric populations in a dynamic school environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
• California SLP license or in the process of obtaining
• Experience delivering school-based and/or pediatric SLP services
• Background in teletherapy services helpful, but this role is in-person only
• Solid understanding of best practices for assessment, IEP development, and service delivery in school settings
• Comfort and previous experience working with students diagnosed with Autism
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including consultation with SLPA if needed
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct speech-language therapy onsite to students with a wide range of communication disorders, focusing on evidence-based strategies
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to optimize student progress, engage in IEP meetings, and provide relevant updates
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with district and state requirements
• Contribute to campus initiatives supporting communicative access and inclusivity for students with Autism
