Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP license in California
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with K-12 educational environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Passion for supporting students’ speech, language, and social-pragmatic development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to K-12 students with various speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and other professionals for holistic student support
  • Develop and manage Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and related documentation
  • Deliver both direct and consultative SLP services across classrooms
  • Participate actively in student support or multi-disciplinary meetings
  • Offer resources and strategies to teachers and families for classroom carryover
