Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with K-12 educational environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Passion for supporting students’ speech, language, and social-pragmatic development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to K-12 students with various speech and language needs
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and other professionals for holistic student support
- Develop and manage Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and related documentation
- Deliver both direct and consultative SLP services across classrooms
- Participate actively in student support or multi-disciplinary meetings
- Offer resources and strategies to teachers and families for classroom carryover
