In this contract role, you'll work with students to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions designed to support communication and language development. Your expertise will help students reach their full potential, both in and out of the classroom.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Current state licensure (or the eligibility to obtain it)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide screenings, evaluations, and therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student
  • Consult with teachers and other staff to support students’ overall learning and classroom participation
  • Engage in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
  • Ensure compliance with school district policies and state regulations
