The ideal candidate brings proven expertise working with school-aged children and demonstrates skill in utilizing AAC devices to support student communication. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or are a Clinical Fellow (CFY), your commitment to fostering student growth will be an asset to the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • CCC-SLP or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with AAC devices and assistive technology
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Prior school-based experience preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop IEPs
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy—individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, family members, and support staff for student-centered care
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt therapy to include AAC devices and alternative communication strategies as needed
