Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in South Carolina required
- Experience providing services to children in a school, clinical, or pediatric setting
- Strong understanding of elementary school (K-5) developmental needs
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability within diverse school teams
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with teachers and staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and intervention to students with a range of speech and language needs in grades K-5
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and special education teams to best support students
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district procedures
- Participate in case conferences, progress reviews, and professional development as needed
