School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Airway Heights, Washington

This school-based assignment runs through June 16th and focuses on serving elementary-aged students, including those in specialized preschools and Autism/IDD classrooms. Key Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience with school-aged and early childhood populations, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities
• Ability to provide teletherapy services if required
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome to apply
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Open to both SLP and SLPA applicants with school or healthcare experience

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
• Evaluate and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with staff and families
• Support three preschool classrooms, as well as specialized Autism/IDD classrooms
• Collaborate daily with a team of two other SLPs to address student needs and foster best practices
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes while actively participating in IEP meetings
• Utilize teletherapy tools as needed to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
