Multiple full-time opportunities are available for experienced SLPs at a variety of educational settings, including high schools, elementary schools, and middle schools. Assignments begin in early August and continue through the end of May, offering stable, rewarding contract roles.

Ideal candidates will bring a strong academic and clinical background in speech-language pathology, along with relevant state credentials. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored interventions and foster student growth in key communication areas.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current SLP-CCC certification
  • Valid State of Alabama SLP license
  • SLP Educator certification in Alabama (must be verifiable through state portal)
  • Up-to-date fingerprints/background clearance, as per Alabama regulations
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve a caseload of approximately 60 students with diverse communication needs
  • Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and provide both direct and consultative therapy
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and social success
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
  • Work onsite within schools, with some positions split between multiple neighboring campuses
