In this position, you’ll conduct comprehensive assessments and provide specialized speech and language services directly to preschool students. Your expertise will also support the wider community, as you extend assessment services to private and nonpublic school students in need.
Ideal candidates will offer:
- Valid licensure as an SLP-CCC or eligibility as SLP-CFY
- Strong background in preschool speech and language development
- Experience conducting educational assessments and direct speech therapy
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Adaptability and commitment to a part-time schedule (0.5 FTE)
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing both group and one-on-one speech-language therapy to preschoolers
- Administering and interpreting a range of speech-language assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consulting with teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure optimal student progress
- Keeping thorough, compliant documentation of services and student progress
- Assessing nonpublic and private school students as assigned
This contract role offers an hourly pay range of $55–$75, commensurate with experience and credentials.
