Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Albany, NY

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology License
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Previous school-based or pediatric therapy experience preferred
• Proficiency with school-based and healthcare-focused approaches, including AAC, PROMPT, social communication interventions, and teletherapy services
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s learning profile and goals
• Provide direct, evidence-based speech and language therapy in individual and group settings
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and detailed IEP documentation
• Coordinate with teachers, administrators, parents, and fellow therapists to foster the best outcomes for every student
• Stay current by attending team meetings, relevant workshops, and professional development sessions
