Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license in New York State
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong assessment and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to students’ unique challenges
  • Provide both individual and small-group speech-language therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer in-service training and resources to staff as needed
