A Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Albany, OR, for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting children’s communication development in an educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Providing targeted therapy sessions to support speech and language goals
- Monitoring, tracking, and documenting student progress in detail
- Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators and healthcare providers to ensure integrated care
- Engaging families by educating and involving them in the therapeutic process
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Oregon
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly desired
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
