Step into a rewarding role supporting preschool learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with multiple full-time opportunities spanning Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties. This contract position runs from August 21, 2026, through June 9, 2027, offering a structured 190-day school-year schedule. As an essential member of an early intervention team, you’ll deliver speech and language services for children aged 3 to 5, shaping foundational communication skills during a crucial period of development.

Key Qualifications

  • Active Oregon SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Background in pediatric or early-childhood settings, especially with preschool-aged children
  • Knowledge of best practices in speech-language evaluation and therapy, both individual and group
  • Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills, with the ability to work closely with families, IEP teams, and educators
  • Experience in school or healthcare settings is a plus; SLPA backgrounds also considered

What You Will Do

  • Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for preschool students
  • Deliver speech and language therapy, both in individual and group settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and function as a valued contributor to interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory and school requirements
  • Consult with families and collaborate with early childhood educators to support generalization across environments
