Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Albany, Oregon

An exciting full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract role is based near Albany and Salem, and centers on supporting students in both in-person and teletherapy settings. You'll collaborate closely with a dynamic educational team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

This role offers highly competitive hourly compensation, ranging from $50–$60 per hour, along with comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain it before the school year begins
• Experience in school-based and pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Proficiency in teletherapy delivery methods is a plus
• Knowledge of best practices for serving diverse student populations

What You Will Do:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-aged population
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services in classrooms and via telehealth platforms
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to best support each student’s communication skills
• Maintain detailed documentation and track student progress per state and federal guidelines
• Provide guidance for support staff, including Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), as needed
