Licensed High School Speech Language Pathologist in Albemarle, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Certification for school-based SLP practice
• Experience serving elementary, middle, and/or high school populations
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to provide tailored, 1:1 intervention and support
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 speech and language evaluations and therapy for students
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to foster student growth
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
• Attend meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning for student support
• Adapt and differentiate intervention strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to enhance language development
