Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Valid SLP license in North Carolina (or eligible for licensure)
- Experience working with school-age children (elementary through high school)
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Comfort working in both one-on-one and group settings
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, voice, language, and communication disorders
- Develop therapy plans and interventions tailored to students’ needs
- Maintain thorough records and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with educators, parents, and other specialists
