Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP license and certification required
- Experience across elementary, middle, and high school settings is a plus
- Understanding of providing speech and language therapy services within a school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to create individualized therapy plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Skilled in administering assessments and identifying targeted intervention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and reassessments as needed
- Develop and implement IEP goals, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social-emotional success
- Engage in ongoing communication with families and educators on student progress
