Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Alabama SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working within school settings (preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and manage a diverse caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress toward goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student support
• Document student progress, maintain compliance with school and state guidelines, and attend meetings as needed
• Use a range of therapeutic interventions and technology to engage learners of all abilities
