Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Alabama SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates with appropriate credentials are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of services, progress, and evaluations
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and families to support student success
• Contribute to the development of strategies and materials for classroom and individualized interventions
• Provide education and resources to support staff and caregivers
