Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Alabama SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working within school settings (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and manage a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress toward goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student support
- Document student progress, maintain compliance with school and state guidelines, and attend meetings as needed
- Use a range of therapeutic interventions and technology to engage learners of all abilities
