School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Albertville, Alabama

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity providing essential speech-language services to students in grades 5 and above. In this full-time position, you'll make a meaningful impact by working across three schools throughout the 2026/2027 school year, supporting approximately 90 students, with around 30 for direct case management.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a school-based SLP
• Prior success in school settings, particularly with upper elementary, middle, or high school populations preferred
• Proficient in evaluation, therapy planning, IEP development, and collaboration with educational teams
• Exceptional communication, organization, and adaptability

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs, targeting interventions for grades 5 and up
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique goals, tracking and reporting outcomes
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy within school environments, both individual and group
• Case manage approximately 30 students, maintaining all required documentation and parent communications
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings across three school sites
• Stay current with best practices and maintain all necessary records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
