This contract opportunity invites a passionate, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to engage with students through both onsite and teletherapy modalities. You’ll work collaboratively with educators and families to empower students with communication disorders to thrive academically and socially.

Key qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain before starting)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
  • Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
  • Collaborative spirit and adaptability to diverse student needs

Primary responsibilities:

  • Complete assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide direct and virtual speech/language therapy to a varied caseload
  • Engage in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain timely, accurate progress reports and documentation
  • Offer guidance and education for families and school staff on student needs and strategies
  • Stay informed about best practices and compliance standards in school settings
  • Support students in social communication and academic participation
