Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Competence with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school-based documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students, identifying needs and developing tailored intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services individually or in groups, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights for student academic and communication growth
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and families regarding student communication strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches to optimize outcomes
