This position offers an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support young learners at an early childhood school in Albuquerque, NM. The role is a part-time contract running from August 1, 2025, through June 4, 2026, with a commitment of 20 hours per week working primarily with a preschool caseload. This role is ideal for professionals who hold SLP credentials and are interested in making a positive impact on early childhood development.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language services, particularly within school or healthcare environments
  • Comfort working with early childhood populations in educational settings
  • Clinical Fellowship candidates will be considered; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible
  • ASL proficiency is not required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations and interventions tailored to preschool-aged children
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of student progress
  • Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language services, ensuring guaranteed hours are fulfilled weekly
