School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Albuquerque, New Mexico

A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Albuquerque, NM, offering both full-time and part-time contract positions. This role is ideal for professionals holding credentials such as SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or School SLP certification. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through the end of the current school year.

In this position, you will manage a caseload of approximately 60 students across kindergarten through 12th grade. The work setting is split between two schools located in Albuquerque, with flexibility to provide services either onsite or virtually, depending on preference and school requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for students
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
• Documenting sessions and maintaining accurate records
• Participating in team meetings and communicating regularly about student outcomes

Qualifications and experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP, SLP-CCC, School SLP)
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year accepted (SLP-CFY)
• Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting preferred
• Ability to adapt to both virtual and in-person service delivery models
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
