Desired Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico SLP license required from NMRLD and NMPED—or at minimum, in pending status by the assignment start date
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
• Prior pediatric or school-based SLP experience is welcomed but not mandatory
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and a genuine passion for helping students succeed

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in a diverse, school-based setting
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate on IEP teams
• Engage with families, teachers, and staff to maximize student progress and support
• Document and track student data to demonstrate intervention effectiveness
• Stay current with state and professional guidelines, participating in ongoing professional development
