Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or eligible SLP licensure in New Mexico
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings highly valued
- Comfort working with PreK through high school students with diverse needs
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide therapy sessions to students in both individual and group settings
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and accurate service records per district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary conferences, and ongoing professional development
