Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Albuquerque, NM

Shape the future for students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist working on a contract basis near the vibrant Albuquerque area. This role offers the opportunity to serve diverse learners at both the elementary and secondary levels, making a significant difference in their academic and personal development.

With two positions available, you’ll work approximately 37.5 hours a week and manage a caseload of around 40-50 students, collaborating with educational teams to support communication needs in a dynamic school environment. This assignment is open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) seeking to build their expertise in a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain an NM RLD license and an NMPED license prior to start
• Open to both fully licensed SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs)
• Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in school settings with diverse student populations is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to students individually and in small groups
• Regularly consult with teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and casenotes in compliance with school and state standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on student progress
