Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP in New Mexico, or eligibility to obtain one promptly
- Experience delivering speech/language therapy to pediatric and adolescent populations, preferably in school environments
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and time-management abilities
- Positive, collaborative attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students, addressing a variety of needs
- Conduct assessment and evaluations, interpret results, and document findings for educational planning
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and strategies with families and staff
