K-5 Grades 9 - 12 School Speech Pathology | Albuquerque, New Mexico

Qualification Highlights:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Skilled in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Proficient at conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering a range of therapy approaches
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with students from various age groups and backgrounds

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students in grades K–12, both individually and in group settings
• Conduct assessments and provide accurate, comprehensive reports on students’ progress
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Consult regularly with educators and families to monitor growth and adapt interventions
• Assist in school-wide initiatives to promote awareness around communication disorders
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation for all services rendered
