K-5 Grades 9 - 12 School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Albuquerque, New Mexico

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience serving students in K-12 settings, including grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Skill in planning and carrying out individualized therapy for students with diverse needs
• Ability to manage caseloads and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12 on a one-to-one basis
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress toward goals
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, analyze results, and contribute to eligibility decisions
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to create tailored intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate records in alignment with state and school procedures
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in speech-language development
