A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Alexander, ND, serving school-aged children from kindergarten through 12th grade, predominantly at the elementary level with some early childhood students. This contract position runs from September 2025 through June 2026, offering a structured school schedule aligned with academic calendar breaks.
Responsibilities include conducting thorough speech and language assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and providing direct one-on-one therapy tailored to each student's unique needs. The role requires close collaboration with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure effective accommodations, modifications, and consistent monitoring of student progress. Participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to goal setting is essential. In addition, providing relevant guidance and resources to parents and caregivers supports student success beyond the classroom.
Qualifications sought include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one, and experience working with school-aged children.
