This opportunity is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a high school setting located in Alexandria, VA. This contract position offers flexibility for full-time or part-time hours, starting as soon as possible through May 29, 2025. Ideal candidates will possess experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology, including credentials such as SLP CCC and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credential preferred
  • Experience in school-based settings, especially high school environments
  • Background in pediatric speech therapy and healthcare settings
  • Completion or near completion of CFY beneficial
  • Strong communication and assessment skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy to students addressing speech, language, fluency, and communication needs
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student success
  • Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices
