Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports as required
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on evaluation results
  • Educate and guide teachers, staff, and family members on strategies that support student development
  • Adapt techniques and interventions to support diverse student learning styles and abilities
